Mark Reidy has an academic background in chemistry. He qualified as an acupuncturist from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington in 1994, and then completed a TCM integration course with John and Angela Hicks. During his years as a practitioner he has developed an expertise in treating people living with HIV/AIDS. He spent approximately 18 months working as a verifier for the Safe Practice Committee of the British Acupuncture Council. Mark has been working for EJOM since June 2006. He is currently studying for an MA in the History of Medicine.
