Dominic Harbinson joined the EJOM Editorial Team in September 2003. He studied acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, following this with a post-graduate diploma in Chinese herbal medicine at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture in London. Before devoting himself to oriental medicine, he had a varied career with spells in education, import-export, translation and consultancy amongst other things. He lives near Canterbury, Kent, where he practises acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. He also practises Dao Hua Qi Gong as taught by Zhixing Wang and Zhendi Wu and tries, with mixed success, to grow herbs and vegetables in his garden.
